You ordered several items with us, including a Roman Lar statue . Unfortunately, this item broke during shipment to the US. We offered to send you a refund. This was unacceptable for you. You demanded we sent a new statue. We replied that we could not do that, since the shipping was higher than the item itself, but that we were happy to send you one for free should you make a new order. After your reply (quote): "This is the age of Amazon. When an Amazon order is broken, they simply replace it in 20 seconds. Your much lower standard of service will not allow you to survive very long in the 21st century in that environment." (...) "There is not going to be another order if this is the standard of customer service, and surly bad attitude, I can expect from Celtic WebMerchant. When there is any problem, you simply tell the customer “too bad.” Maybe that worked 20 years ago when you had no competitors, but not today. " We sent you a refund. I am sorry you think our customer service level is not up to scratch, but we stand by our decision, and reading back, our employee has been correct and kind.
