It has now been neatly resolved! The collar is beautiful, but the turquoise button was damaged. Paint was coming off and there was rust. So I emailed about it and received a new button in the mail. But how do you attach something like that? I was told that I could try to carefully hammer it in myself... If that even works, I would first have to remove the other one, which is not possible. The other option the employee suggested was to have it done by a cobbler. So you have a nice collar on sale, and then you still end up spending money on a cobbler. I haven't done that yet, so the problem is still not resolved.
