I have bought the Noctuidae Europaeae Essentials. The book is great, containing a lot of information. There is basically everything from history, moth trapping, preparation, photography, species description and ecology, live moth photos and color plates. I would like to see some detailed side by side illustration in more difficult genera (e.g. Mythimna) but for overall understanding of the family it's really worth it.
