EPDM XL

I ordered an EPDM strip and Tytane contact adhesive, and used them to cover the leaking zinc gutter. The delivery was fast, and I received exactly what I ordered, so everything was in order. What I found less pleasant was how quickly the adhesive dries. I poured the adhesive into a roller tray to then roll it onto the gutter and EPDM. However, within half a minute, a film starts to form on the adhesive, which obviously doesn't improve while rolling part of the gutter. All in all, it quickly becomes a huge sticky mess, no matter how fast you work. I ultimately managed to create a nice finish, but it was quite challenging to work with. This was also in comparison to other adhesives I have used for EPDM before. It is now very solid, and in the end, that is what really matters, of course.
