Response by Hippe Girls
Dear Christine, We are very sorry to hear that an infection has developed – we hope that you are feeling a bit better now! It's a pity that you didn't reach out to us directly. We would have loved to assist you and provide advice right away. Instead, we are now learning about your experience through an external review – which is of course your right, but it gives us less opportunity to respond directly. We often see that small wounds can occur when changing earrings. Unfortunately, in combination with a bit of bad luck or sensitive skin, this can lead to an infection. Therefore, we always recommend using an antiseptic solution – especially when changing earrings. The earrings you purchased from us are made from the same material as those used for professional ear piercing – so they are generally suitable for sensitive ears. With the right care, you should enjoy your earrings for a long time. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss anything with us, please feel free to reach out at any time – we are happy to help! Best regards, Gwen
