Of course, things can sometimes go wrong, but overlooking a product in our returns department is more than just a mistake. After your notification, we thoroughly checked our inventory records and the actual stock in the warehouse, and everything matched (which means that if that one bra had indeed been returned but was surprisingly overlooked, we would have one too many compared to our digital inventory). We are not talking about a mistake on a return form; we see those quite often and try to correct them where possible. Unfortunately, your mistake (forgetting to register the bra) did not come to light because the contents of the box matched the return form. If the form had been filled out as you intended, we would have had a very different dialogue due to the discrepancy.
