Amsterdam Flowers

I ordered the bouquet "Stoere verrassing" from Amsterdam Flowers for an acquaintance. This bouquet was delivered on time and came with a simple vase (at no extra charge) so that if the recipient was not home, the bouquet would still be in water. The quality of the bouquet was very decorative and even more beautiful than the image on the website. There was real care taken to arrange the bouquet nicely, with a large variety of fresh flowers and a peacock feather.

I ordered flowers. They were initially not delivered because the person supposedly didn't live at the address according to the nameplate. (I also wasn't called, and I did provide my number during the request.) After the first delivery attempt, I received an email stating that the people didn't live there; later that evening, I received another email saying it had been delivered. This last part turned out to be incorrect, and I had assumed they had been delivered. It's very disappointing that it didn't go right the first time. If I hadn't been informed by the employee that the flowers hadn't arrived and hadn't called Amsterdamflowers.nl myself, the flowers would not have been delivered even though they were paid for. I find that unacceptable. Subsequently, a nice bouquet was sent there. After my initial review, which was mediocre, I was contacted by Amsterdamflowers.nl. That was okay in itself. However, they had no idea what was going on, and the way they responded was very poor. It was as if they were saying, "We did inform you that the people don't live there." They seemed to forget that there was an email sent later stating that it had been delivered. My rating went from a 5 to a 3, and now I can't recommend them anymore.
