The blanket I initially received unfortunately broke (at the zipper) during testing. That same day (on Sunday), I sent a message to Belieff. They responded promptly, stating that I would receive a new one and that it would be arranged on Monday. I am very pleased with the service!
The zippered leg blanket with heating pad is definitely wonderfully warm at the top; unfortunately, the flaps are too short for me to wrap it around my legs, so we will be adding a clip for that. The back/bottom remains open, so cold and dampness can still reach you. In terms of waterproofing, it performs well in a steady drizzle, but in heavy rain, you won't stay dry for more than 3 hours.
