I received the package in the evening. Unfortunately, the clasp of the necklace broke in half immediately. The next day, I emailed with photos. As a gesture of goodwill, a new necklace was sent to me, but only if I paid the shipping costs. The argument was that they cannot see from a distance whether it broke due to a defect or due to mishandling of the product. I understand that, but that is the risk of selling products through a webshop. I genuinely did not mishandle the product, and I believe that a customer should never be the victim of a defective product.
