Thank you for your review. Your order with glassware was filled with Flo-pak pellets to protect the contents. We use 100% recycled and biodegradable packing material for this. However, using too much is always a waste! The intention is for the packer to cut a (much) too large box to prevent the need for excessive packing material. This was not done correctly with your order. We have addressed this issue with the packing team. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.

Firstly, the jars from the Del Huerto brand never come with a seal. The jars come with a safety button lid. If the vacuum has been properly created, the button should not retract under pressure. Regarding the frozen peppers: The products were shipped on Wednesday with a kilo of dry ice at -78 degrees and arrived the next day. By the time the dry ice arrives, it will have sublimated, but normally, dry ice ensures that the products remain frozen for more than 24 hours. If that is not the case, we need to find out what happened because that should not occur. Was the insulating bag properly sealed? Just in case, did you take a photo of the products when you noticed they did not arrive frozen?
