Update 07-06-2021: Heinen has since reached out and provided a proper solution; they are sending a new plate free of charge. No discussion was needed, just one email and everything was arranged. The wall plate had minor damages. I didn't return it because it needed to be taken along during a move to Spain, and there was no time for that.
