Because I have a chronic shoulder injury, I can no longer comfortably play guitar with a regular strap. The weight of my guitar (even though it's a semi-hollow) puts too much pressure on my left shoulder. The solution seemed simple: find a strap that distributes the weight across both shoulders. So, I sat down at the drawing board with Rick. We looked at my posture when I play and at my guitar, and together we came up with a new design: a custom ergonomic strap that goes over both shoulders and joins into one strap. There's a difference of night and day. I would recommend it to anyone!
