I ordered a whole pallet of wood pellets for our pellets stove. I phoned them in advance to make sure that their deliverer would be able to move the pallet into our garage, as it cannot stand outside and I was alone at home. They confirmed that it should not be a problem. When I ordered, I also paid extra 79 EUR for en kooiapp, just to make sure that the deliverer would have the right equipment. Upon arrival, the deliverer said that he did not have time to put the pallet into my garage. The pallet was a little too high for the garage, so I fetched scissors to be able to pull of the top bags. When I had finished that, the deliverer had phoned his superior and told me that he was not obliged to help me put the pallet into the garage. He had an appointment with his next customer, so clearly the appointment with me (to deliver the pellets to me) was of no importance. He had the machinery, he only had to give me five minutes. But instead, the deliverer contacted the company and claimed that I had been waiving a knife or scissors and that they would never deliver to me again. Clearly, this was taken totally out of context, as all I wanted was for the pallet to get into my garage. When I complained to the company, the sided with their deliverer and did not even offer to repay me the extra 79 that I had paid. In addition to that, there are small holes in the plastic bags around the pellets, so the bags are not tight, meaning that they have to be stored in a totally tight area. On top of that, the plastic is very thin, meaning that when moving each of the bags off the pallet, several of them broke. The pellets themselves are fine.
