My working and living language is English, so I will respond here in English. I was annoyed that the screen broke so soon after buying it, after I lent it to someone just for half an hour, who dropped it on rocky soil in Western Australia. On the Internet I read that for the S8, "it was not a matter of if, but of when" the screen would show cracks. Given that it has an infinity screen, I can understand that for physical material reasons it is sensitive to breaking or cracking. This happened when I was traveling in Australia. I tried to get it fixed with Samsung there, but although the model is the same, they told me that parts could be slightly different, and hence that they could not fix it. I had bough the S8 mobile phone in Zoetermeer at Media Markt, and went to them, upon returning to Holland about a week ago. They said that it would take them at least three weeks to get it fixed at Samsung. I realized that getting it fixed with a local shop would mean that I would loose all rights on the continuing warranty, so I certainly did not want to follow that route. I found Samsung on "cracked screens" on the Internet, with the various steps needed to take for getting it fixed. I immediately called the local Dutch Samsung phone number on the website, and immediately service was excellent. Just as the website had said, it would take as little as three days, for pick-up, repair, and return. This is what happened, with just an extension of one extra day as paying from my side was postponed by one day due to other work commitments I had for that day. I was sent emails at every step on sending, receiving, repairing and returning the phone. I received it today and it is functioning very well, with a new screen. In summary, I found the service exceptionally high, with very receptive, polite, friendly and informative staff, and a very fast process in place for resolving my problem of a cracked screen. Congratulations! I have managed hundreds of people working on complex tasks and know that keeping such a three-ring circus functioning smoothly is not easy. Well done! Best regards, Dr. Ir.
